Common questions, plus a way to reach us.
What is Dispatch?
A quiet iOS client for your Ghost site and the fediverse. Compose short fediverse notes, read your timeline, follow accounts on Mastodon, Threads, and other Ghost sites — all routed through your Ghost site’s ActivityPub.
Do I need a Ghost site to use it?
Yes. Dispatch connects to a self-hosted or Ghost(Pro) site using a Staff Access Token. If you don’t have a Ghost site yet, you can start one at ghost.org.
How do I connect my site?
On first launch, paste your site URL and a Staff Access Token. Dispatch stores the token in the iOS Keychain on your device and uses it to talk to your site directly.
Which fediverse services work?
Anything that speaks ActivityPub — Mastodon, Threads (where federation is enabled), other Ghost sites with ActivityPub turned on, and similar. Federation is handled by your Ghost site, so anyone it can reach, Dispatch can reach.
Can I write long-form posts in Dispatch?
Coming soon. At launch Dispatch composes short fediverse notes; long-form posts to your Ghost site will follow in an update.
What about newsletters and other Ghost features?
Coming soon. Newsletter sending and other Ghost-side features will arrive in updates after launch.
Does it work on iPad and Mac?
iPhone and iPad are both supported. There’s no separate Mac or Vision Pro build yet — those are on the roadmap.
What iOS version do I need?
iOS 26 or later.
When does it launch?
Soon. It’ll show up on the Kojya apps page the moment it’s on the App Store.
