Dispatch is a client. It talks directly to your Ghost site, which in turn handles federation with the wider fediverse. We don’t run a server in the middle, and we have no telemetry pipeline.
What we collect
Nothing. We have no view of your notes, your timeline, or who you follow.
Where your data lives
On your device and on your Ghost site. When you publish, reply, like, repost, or follow, the request goes from your device to your Ghost site over its API. Federation with other servers (Mastodon, Threads, other Ghost sites) is handled by your Ghost site, not by us.
Credentials
Your Ghost Staff Access Token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. It’s used only to authenticate requests to the Ghost site you signed in to.
Network requests
Dispatch connects to your Ghost site and to Apple services for the things iOS handles for us (Keychain, app delivery). It does not contact a Kojya backend, because there isn’t one.
Third parties
No SDKs, no analytics, no advertising, no data brokers. The only third parties involved are the servers you choose to connect to.
Crash reports
If you opt in via iOS Settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash reports with us. Nothing personal.
